- This is one of our toughest tote bags. The bag construction is reinforced with a leather bottom and all outside edges are bound with leather trim. The outside of the bag has a roomy gusseted front pocket to keep small items organized. The front flap is lined with a vintage hunting fabric. The top of the tote bag closes with a two way YKK metal zipper to keep all your items high and dry. The leather handles are double ply and stitched to help carry heavy loads, and the main body of the bag is made from 20oz waxed canvas. Dimensions: 15 x 12 x 5.5in. Handmade in our Michigan shop. - Our waxed canvas is simply a duck canvas with wax-impregnated cotton yarns. This results in a fabric that’s as strong as duck canvas with an added layer of protection against water, wind and agitation.
Waxed canvas bags and garments can be used for months (even years) without requiring care. When caring for waxed canvas, avoid machine washing and submerging in water. Spot cleaning or hosing off the product is recommended. Hang dry only. Re-wax after prolonged use with an all-natural fabric wax to maintain weather resistance.
